Last year, the students should wear Batik when we followed flag ceremony. This time, we shouldn't, which is not really nice I supposed. Well, but others think it's GREAT. Okay, so I always join the flag ceremony and also today I did. The thing was, I didn't join any competitions today, sad :( It's because I had another event in church. My church assumed that everybody had holiday in the Independence Day. Yes to adult, not for student X(
By the way, the event was held in Kertajaya. Relatively near from my school but I went to Andhika instead at first!!! It was long-long way - know my post about erha21? - yeah today is kinda like that. This is worse since I've gone long-long-loooongggg way and found no one there. I just realized I misunderstood the info about the event. There was local flag ceremony in Surabaya - near TP which means near Andhika - so the place was changed in Kertajaya Indah to avoid that ceremony thingy. Shocked much, I ran to find another taxi to go back to Kertajaya Indah. I grumbled along the way 'cause I'd spent more than Rp50.000 that day!!!
The event was about singing technique. We were taught about how to sing classical song beautifully. The main things are we should understand the song and the situation of the song. We not only should sing from our deepest heart but also could express our emotion based on the right technique. From then, there were some soloists came front to be taught. I was also appointed as one of soloist two weeks before. I would performed and the teacher would fix my singing technique. But, yeah... I screwed up, guys ;_; I was TOO NERVOUS when I performed. The teacher, an elder woman in her 50s, said that I actually had potential =''= but was TOO SHY and y'know... NERVOUS. Anyway, I was too focusing on myself that I forgot my dearest country.
