It's been a long time since last I share everything in this blog. I get busier every day. School's activity isn't too busy anymore but church time now. I have to do some jobs - not really, services I think- for Easter later. Aside from that, the teenage fellowship will have it's birthday in May, perhaps. I'm in charged to be -what ya- the person who arrange the event later. (Gak tahu Sie. Acara itu apa, hehehe...^^)
By the way, last Friday we learned about haiku (hiragana: はいく). In all English period last week, we had to learn about poem. So you can conclude that haiku also about poem.
Let me explain shortly about haiku. Haiku is a type of Japanese poem. It's usually use seasons phrase and mostly related to nature. The person who wrote this type of poem for the first time love nature so much. I forgot his name. Later I'll tell you. The rule of this poem is only has 3 lines with 5-7-5 syllables respectively. If English translator use this rule to translate the haiku or make a poem base on the rule, the poem will be called as strict-form haiku. If the translator choose shorter word or longer word, the poem will be called as free-form haiku. Then, we were divided into 4 different group according to seasons. I was in 'Autumn' group (Nad, Lyne, CheLLe). We made free-form haiku. This is our poem which were repaired by Ms. Charlotte:
Brown, orange, yellow leaves fall
Children boots stomp the dried leaves
Basking in the autumn ambiance
These are several poem from other season groups.
Spring (PhiL&CLeve):
Sakura blooming
Cherry blossoms everywhere
It's spring in Japan
Winter (Hansen, Harisson, Ivan, MitcheLL):
Things are freezing now
It's time to wait for Santa
Got to make snowman
Summer (Christina, Vivi, Ivi, FeLicia):
Beach boys in the spa
On vacation in Bali
Summer vacationDuring summer trips
Sexy chicks in bikini
Playing volley ball
All their poems are so nice, right? They chose deep-meaning words to explain what they thinking about the seasons. Aside from work in group, we're also making haiku for some seasons that we didn't make for. If we could -individually- show our poems about other seasons, Ms. Charlotte would give plus points. I think, all of my classmate showed their work. None of us didn't get plus points. O ya... Below are my poems. Originally made by me.
Spring:
Roses are blooming
We will breathe the new fresh air
Loves come as Spring does
Summer:
Sunshine is so bright
Beaches crowded with people
Sign that Summer comes
Winter:
Snow falls everywhere
Children waiting for presents
Winter is coming
Autumn (by me):
Leaves are all falling
Boots and trench coats are all used
Peace Autumn arrives
